Attachment Viewer is an extension designed to complement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It serves various sections across domains like Banking, Payments, Sales, and Purchasing among others. This add-on facilitates the effortless uploading and examination of attachments, resulting in time and memory savings while enhancing overall productivity through its drag-and-drop functionality or by selecting them from a directory. It also offers the convenience of quickly previewing attachments through thumbnails and eliminating the need to download each extension individually.
It allows adding supporting attachments to the main document and consolidates everything in a single location. Users can effortlessly move between attachments, zoom in on content, and access entire documents without the need for downloads. Furthermore, it provides the option to delete individual or multiple attachments as required. Additionally, the tool extends its functionality to include actions like printing and saving specific attachments.
Currently, this functionality is available only on Cloud (SAAS).

AVAILABILITY OF ATTACHMENT VIEWER FUNCTIONALITY.
Attachment Viewer can be found on many pages. The availability of this functionality is indicated by the presence of this icon under the Attachment Viewer title:
HOW TO DOWNLOAD ATTACHMENT VIEWER
To access the Attachment Viewer extension in Business Central, select the search button at the top right corner type in Extension Marketplace then select the related link.
On the Extension Marketplace page, type in Attachment Viewer in the search area, select Attachment Viewer with the inscription On Point Ltd, apply for a free trial and experience
On the Extension Installation page choose Install to begin the experience.
HOW TO SET UP ATTACHMENT VIEWER
After Installation, search for Attachment Viewer Settings in the search area to access the setup page.
Ensure that the Copy Planning Line Att. to SH and Copy Att. from Inc. Doc. on PSI buttons are ticked.

This functionality enables users to attach files to the Job Planning Lines, and when they generate a corresponding Sales Invoice, it will automatically incorporate all the attachments they've linked to each line.
In the Job Planning Lines, select the job line to which you want to add the attachment and add it.
To create a corresponding Sales Invoice, follow these steps:
Go back to the Job Card and click on the Line tab
Select Documents
Choose Create Sales Invoice
After creating the new invoice, go to Sales Invoices/ Credit Memos (accessible from the same section where you created the invoice) and then post the invoice.
When you view the newly posted invoice in Posted Sales Invoices, you will find the attachment from the corresponding job line displayed alongside it
Copy Att. from Inc. Doc.
This functionality permits users to manually include attachments from Posted Sales Invoices while going through the Post and Send procedure.
After creating a new Sales Invoice with your preferred attachment, simply click the arrow beside the Post function found in the top-left corner and select Post and Send.
A window with mailing options pops up. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Add file from source document.
Select your attachment from the list and confirm your choice. The attachment will now be displayed at the bottom of the window, under the invoice.
ADDING AN ATTACHMENT
Users can add a new attachment either by dragging and dropping the file on the attachment icon in the top right corner or they can select the attachment from a specific folder on their PC by clicking on it.
ADD OR DELETE SUPPORTING ATTACHMENTS.
Supporting attachments can be added by clicking on the icon located in the top right corner below the Attachment Viewer label or by dragging and dropping of file on the icon .
Users are able to move between particular attachments using arrows ⬅ ➡ .
On the other hand, the attachment can be deleted by clicking on the icon and confirming that the user really wants to delete the attachment.
