How can I clear my Ledger Entries?
Is it possible to delete the ledger entries pertaining to a specific nominal account within NAV? The answer is a definite no, as there's no way how to erase a transaction in Business Central. Having said that there are still ways and means how to go about it...
Step-by-step guide
There are 2 options available where you can reverse posted entries:
- Access the Ledger Entries for a specific General Ledger account, press Actions > Functions > Reverse Transaction.
- The other option if from the G/L Register where basically you can reverse ALL the transactions posed in a batch as follows:
